Helping local people fighting prostate cancer

Prostate Cancer is the most common male cancer, with 1 in 8 men diagnosed in their lifetime.  Our Cancer Team are one of the leading specialists in the UK, offering a high level of care to patients in Gloucestershire and surrounding counties.

We are determined to give the best treatment and support for the increasing number of local patients who come to us each year. Through our ‘Hit Cancer for Six!’ Appeal we are raising funds to provide extra care and equipment which will improve the experience for local prostate cancer patients receiving treatment in the Gloucestershire Oncology Centre.

Recent donations have helped us to provide items such as a bladder scanner which enables our radiotherapy team to increase the accuracy and consistency of treatment and special reclining chairs which give comfort to patients receiving chemotherapy.
