Raising concerns, comments, compliments
If you would like to tell us when something has gone well, you can:
- Speak personally to the member of staff providing your care and treatment
- Contact the Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS) who can then pass your compliments on to the relevant staff.
There may be occasions when you would simply like to comment on a particular aspect of the Trust’s services or suggest ways to change and improve. To let us know your comments you can:
- Contact the PALS team who can log your comments and make sure they are raised in the most appropriate way
Concerns and Complaints:
We recognise that we will not get things right all the time, so if you do have any concerns or complaints, it is important that you tell us about these straightaway. Most problems can be resolved by simply talking to the staff directly involved in your care or the person in charge of the ward or department.
If you do not feel able to discuss your concerns directly with staff, you can contact the PALS team who can then explain how your concerns or complaints can be taken forward.
Remember – if you are concerned about something, the sooner you tell us, the quicker we can try to find a solution.
