Charities to be thanked by Children's centre
A celebration and afternoon tea to thank the many supporters of services for babies and children will be held on Saturday 3rd October from 2pm-4.30 pm at The Children’s Centre, Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Charities including Pied Piper, Clic Sargent, Scoo-B-Doo, Daisy Chain and Mothers’ Union will be present at the event, alongside many smaller charities, companies and individuals who donate money and time to providing a better experience for our young patients.
Lead Nurse and Matron for Paediatrics Jo Harvey said:
“We’re so lucky to have such fantastic and dedicated supporters of our services. From large charities to individual donors, their kindness, dedication and time ensures that the children we look after – from premature and sick babies to teenagers – can benefit from fantastic facilities and equipment in a truly child-friendly environment.
“We’re really proud of the services we provide for children in the county, both in Cheltenham and here at Gloucester and we wanted to say a huge thank you to the people in Gloucestershire for their generosity to the children and their families.”
