Long Service Awards for Cheltenham General Hospital Volunteers

The Annual Reception for Cheltenham General Hospital Volunteers is to be held in the dining hall at Cheltenham College on Monday 16th December in recognition of the time, dedication and commitment they give to our patients and our hospitals.

The volunteers will be provided with a Christmas luncheon prepared by the College’s catering staff.

During the reception Long Service Awards will be presented to volunteers by Chair of Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Professor Clair Chilvers assisted by Kevan Blackadder, Editor of Gloucestershire Echo.

Voluntary Services Manager Liz Waller explains this is the Trust’s opportunity to say thank you: “The reception is an opportunity for the Trust to thank the volunteers for their commitment and dedication in all that they do for both patients and staff. For the first time this year there will be awards made to volunteers for twenty five years of service , in addition to those awards for twenty, fifteen, ten and five years of service”.
