Please Could you Pass on my Thanks?
I had an MRI in Cheltenham today and I just wanted to say how grateful I am for the care that I received. It is quite painful for me to lie flat at the moment and the two members of staff were thoughtful, caring, good-humoured and came up with practical solutions. I would really appreciate it if you could let them know what a difference they made to me. Thank you Ruth Murran

Smoking on hospital grounds
For the last 4 weeks I have been visiting my brother at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, and I am DISGUSTED at the groups of people around the Tower entrance smoking...in what is advertised (even on advertisement on this feedback form page) that the hospital and grounds are totally smoke free. This is a nonsense. Patients/visitors/staff all stand by the Tower entrance smoking (and elsewhere in the grounds), and there is no attempt to move these people away. I SHOULD NOT have to be having to walk through this when the rule the hospital being a smoke free zone are in place. Something has to be done about this. Or stop wasting time and money in putting signs everywhere saying that it is smoke free when there is no enforcement of this.
Outstanding care and service
I just wanted to write to express my gratitude for the truely remarkable experience I had whilst giving birth to my baby at GRH. Laura the midwife, was exemplary and made the whole process as comfortable as possible, whilst encompassing every value we expect of trust staff and more! Thank you. The whole maternity service I have received whilst pregnant and postnatally has been incredible and I feel very fortunate to live in this country and have our National Health Service. Long may it continue.
