If you're out celebrating tonight, have fun but please drink responsibly and leave our A&E's clear for those who really need urgent medical help!
In our Emergency Departments, patients are prioritised by urgent medical need, so if you have to wait to be seen, please be patient as violence or aggression towards staff will not be tolerated.
If you do need medical help, call 111 who will direct you to the most appropriate service.
And of course, a big thank you to all our staff who’ll be working to care for patients this evening and into the new year
