Planned industrial action by Junior Doctors on Tuesday 1st December has been called off following 11th hour negotiations between the British Medical Association (BMA) and the Department of Health (DH). Two further days of planned action on the 8/12/15 and the 16/12/15 have also been suspended.

Patients who received a letter or phone call informing you that your planned operation, outpatient clinic or procedure was cancelled on Tuesday 1st December should NOT attend. A new appointment will be rescheduled shortly at a time convenient to you. Please share.

It was round one of our 2015/16 Bake-Off today at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where entrants made fantastic Mince Pies. The standard was really high as usual and all the entrants made extra pies to be sold afterwards to raise money for our Charity, the Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity.
