All I can say is that since arriving on Friday night after a referral from the doctors I have been thoroughly looked after very well. Another few more days and I might be able to go home but not too sure yet. The nursing team from a & e, to acua, to cardiology have all been fantastic. Thanks all

Went in for day surgery on Friday. Had a lot of waiting around but I was warned about this beforehand. Staff were all great, friendly and helpful. Anaesthetist and surgeon explained everything to me. Recovery staff took good care of me. They all made a nervous scary day a lot easier to cope with. Thanks everyone

Recently brought my son into the emergency department with a suspected fractured ankle, despite how busy it was he was triaged, had an x-ray and treated well within the 4 hour target. I know I work for the trust and some may say im biased but they were truly wonderful

First class treatment from everyone happy polite staff I can't fault anyone. I don't want to go back in for any reason but I would be more than happy to do so if I had to.

All staff very professional they dealt with me with respect and dignity from the ambulance crew through to A&E staff and the ward staff.

The staff were friendly they told us we could face up to 5 hours waiting but my husband explained that our sons autistic and very nervous and we were seen an hour and 15 minutes later...the doctor was very busy as his beeper kept going off..but he was also very good with Nathan. He also got us appointment to see a throat specialist on Wednesday which is very fast and much appreciated as we are extremely worried about our son. Also concerned as according to nhs website if quinsy is suspected it should be treated as urgent...

Irene Mitchell. In my opinion 'Poor' just about sums it up! "Critical Care & Ward 5A". But maybe I'm biased!

Unfortunately had to visit A&E having fallen off a wall painting a fence arrived at 1520 one Sunday afternoon had a short wait (no more than 20 minutes) to be seen by triage, they were very busy but still extremely kind, caring and professional, can't thank them enough for the care they gave me. I had broken my wrist which needed xrays and manipulation back into place. I was home by 2100 all in all amazing no other words to describe the staff there.

We are living in a world or budget cuts and restrictions against a backdrop of who knows what. More investment is needed in our NHS & they are doing the very best they can.

These guys are there 24/7/365 to help.

Never knowing what might come through the door.

Always ready to help and assist with complete calm and professionalism.

Been in GRH Several times and find the staff Fantastic , even when stretched they show compassion and professionalism !!
We must stand up and protect our NHS !!

With my father admitted to a&E Sunday night.
Staff were really very good, the things they need to put up with from some people is astounding.

Disgusted with this hospital. Left an elderly bedridden lady for almost 1 hour waiting for a commode forcing her to deficate in her bed and sit in it for a further 30 mins. Shame on you!

Fantastic service. On time. No fuss. Great. Well done Gloucestershir NHS Trust.

I would like to thank all the doctors and nurses and all the staff on ward 7a where I was in back in February whom were caring and understanding plus I like to thank all the ibd nurse too.
I'm still not feeling well and had a flair up last night and waiting for a MRI which I'm having next month.
Thank you again and god bless you whom work in Gloucester royal hospital with hugs xoxo

I can offer nothing but praise for the care I received over the past week, been seen twice in Ambulatory Emergency Care & one admission to Acute Care Unit via A & E overnight, everyone worked hard & with a great team spirit, I was always kept informed of everything that was being done & any results from the tests performed.
I'm always saddened by other people's behaviour toward the staff, their comprehension of what else was being done by the same staff they were shouting at. I know pain & fear can change people's behaviour and hope they never get that kind of treatment in their workplace.
