Spent the day there yesterday 28.11.16...did have to sit about and wait quite a lot but that was only because the nursing staff were rushed off their feet...but I was treated with great respect by every one there, the Sea and nurses that treated me we're so very friendly, polite and did an amazing job considering they were so very busy it was a real eye opener for me I could see them all working behind the scenes, and they all still managed to smile and do their work with such dedication great great praise for all the staff there....Thank you for treating me!!!

I live in Wolverhampton and was transferred to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital six years ago to be put on a programme to monitor my Barrett’s Oesophagus. Unfortunately, in 2012 the Barrett’s turned to Cancer and that year I have major surgery to have my Oesophagus removed. During all the time that I have been treated by the hospital I have been well looked after and cannot thank the staff who have looked after me all through the process from being diagnosed to the current day. A special thanks goes to Professor Barr, my surgeon Mr Dwerryhouse, the surgical team, and the support from Gaynor Jones and Kelly Weir. I cannot thank them enough and feel they are a fantastic group of people that cannot do enough for you.

I've looked at some reviews and had to put my own. I got rushed in on 24th October, was on last breaths dieing when paramedic got to me, he quickly stabilised me, spent two weeks in ICU with multiple lung infections, I was well looked after by staff even tho they were rushed due to seriously understaffed, they saved my life, I don't think I can really complain about the odd things that I didn't like, I'm happy I'm alive.

To the lovely lady at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital today, thank you so much for your kindness to my daughter Lilly!
After a conversation with you walking through the corridor to the entrance you saw Lilly looking a table of knitted teddies (where you had already purchased a few items that were blue, which you told us was you favourite colour) Lilly picked up a small handmade hedgehog which she said was 'so cute!'
You then asked the lady selling them how much it was and proceeded to buy it for Lilly, I cannot thank you enough for showing such kindness and generosity to a stranger! Lilly was so thrilled and has taken it to bed with her tonight!
Sorry we did not get your name but hopefully somehow through the power of social media this may reach you! (I think she was south African) ❤️

Please share wonderful people of facebook!

****Lilly would like to give this lovely lady something blue to add to her collection so would be lovely to find her! :) ****
