Tweets of the week
We're gearing up for our annual Staff Awards next week. Amongst the amazing people being recognised are these staff who've been shortlisted for our Patient's Choice Award. Whether teams or individuals, every one of these candidates received really inspiring and moving nominations from patients or their families. Well done to all and good luck next week!

Maternity care at GRH
We would like to formally record our thanks to all the staff on the Maternity Unit (CDS in particular). During a stressful time for both of us (as nervous doctors!) we were well looked after by all midwifes, medical and auxillary staff. In particular Student midwife Amy was extremely calm, competent and professional. With best wishes Laura, Louis (and Roo!)
My Healthcare Exeperience in the care of the Cardiology Department
Hi, I just wanted to specifically thank the staff in the Cardiology departments at both Gloucester Royal (GRH) and Cheltenham General (CGH) for what can only be defined as first rate compassionate care. I was an inpatient for a period of two weeks in August/September and received some distressful news about my condition during my stay. However, the amazing, caring staff were right by my side to assist, motivate and reassure me all the way. The HCAs, Nurses and Doctors on the GRH and CGH Cardiology Wards were truly amazing, let’s not also forget the amazing team in the Hartpury suite at CGH. We should be very proud of these special people who genuinely care without asking for anything in return. Thank you, thank you, thank you! A grateful patient.
Following my appointments with the mobile breast clinic in Tewkesbury and subsequent appointment today (Tues 3 Nov 2015) at Thirlastaine Breast Clinic in Cheltenham I would like to thank all the staff for their care and attention, their humanity and sensitivity and just as importantly their humour and kindness. A HUGE THANK YOU.
