There are two eight-bedded specialist Endoscopy Suites in the Acute Trust, one at Cheltenham General Hospital and the other at Gloucester Royal Hospital. Community Endoscopy Unit are based at Stroud and Cirencester. Together these areas provide Endoscopy services for Gloucestershire and the wider community.
The Endoscopy Suite at Cheltenham General Hospital can be found on the first floor of the Oncology Centre at the back of the hospital off of Keynsham Road.
The Endoscopy Suite at Gloucester Royal Hospital can be found on the first floor of the Outpatient block (New building) off of Great Western Road.
Both are day time units and are open between 7.30am and 6.30pm, Monday to Friday but provide emergency out-of-hours cover as needed.

In the Endoscopy serivce we care for adult men and women both inpatients and outpatients undergoing a variety of Endoscopic procedures. The main types of procedures undertaken are: Gastroscopy, EUS (Endoscopic Ultra Sound), Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, TRUS (Trans Rectal Ultra Sound), Colonoscopy, Enteroscopy, Video Capsule Endoscopy, Bronchoscopy, EBUS ( Endoscopic bronchial Ultra Sound), PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastroscopy) insertion, changes and removal, Oesophageal and Colonical stenting and ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography).
