Getting in touch
The Central Booking Office is open from 9am - 4pm on Monday to Friday, when you can speak to a member of the Booking Office team about your outpatient appointment. The number to ring is on your Appointment Information Sheet.
The phone lines can be very busy so if you have difficulty getting through you can leave a message to either cancel or re-arrange your appointment; these messages are regularly checked and actioned throughout the day. Please make sure you leave your name and contact details.
Cancellations by you
We know that there are good reasons why people can't make their appointments, but it is very important that you let us know as soon as possible if you cannot attend or no longer want your appointment, so that we can offer your slot to another patient, and arrange a new appointment with you, if required.
Please note that if you fail to turn up for your outpatient appointment you will not automatically be given another appointment.
If you do need to cancel your appointment you can call us on the number on your appointment information sheet, or if you have access to email, you can contact us on Outpatient.Booking@glos.nhs.uk. Please make sure you include the following details:
- Your name
- Your hospital number
- Your address
- Your date of birth
Also, remeber to provide details of the appointment you wish to cancel.
If you need another appointment please state this in your message and we will contact you to discuss a convenient time.
Please do not use the appointments email address for any other reason.
