There is a waiting room within DCC for visitors with drinks facilities, and a toilet (equipped for the disabled). There is also a small bedroom which can be used for 1 or 2 nights’ stay if you travel a long distance, or your relative is particularly unwell. Please ask the nurse looking after your relative.

'Fosters’ Restaurant is open to visitors and is located on the ground floor of the Tower Block beyond the lifts. For more information Click Here

 There are three small shops at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital which sell newspapers, magazines and cards etc. For information Click Here

If English is not your first language, and you may require the services of an interpreter, please let the ward know before your admission, if at all possible.

If you are hearing impaired and use sign language we may also be able to provide someone to help with this.

A Hairdresser, Dietician, Chiropodist, Dentist and Pharmacist are all available in the hospital and staff can tell you more about these, please ask.

Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Social Services can be accessed following a referral from Ward staff, please ask if you think you may need these.

Chaplaincy staff visit the Wards regularly, or you may arrange for your own spiritual advisor to visit.
