NHS.net Scam - Be aware that NHS.net email addresses have been targeted by fraudsters who are sending out emails with an attached PDF advising of upgrades of the network and asking the recipient to click on a link to verify their account. If you receive an email asking you to open an attached PDF document from an unknown sender, do not reply or open the attachment. Please report any concerns to your LCFS. NHS Protect are currently investigating.
Wire Transfer Scam - The latest email scam is where criminals have hacked NHS staff emails and are sending the following emails to other NHS staff, purporting, in some cases, to be the Chief Executive:
Please, I will need you to do a wire transfer as soon as possible. Please, get back to me via email for the beneficiary details.

Do not respond to the email. Please report the email to your Local Counter Fraud Specialist Service. NHS Protect have been made aware.
