Postal Services

Postal Services are part of the Estates and Facilities Division and have offices at both Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and Cheltenham General Hospital.

 

The Postal Service undertakes the delivery of all internal and external mail at Cheltenham General and Gloucestershire Royal Hospitals.  This includes the sending of external mail using the Royal Mail Clean Mailing system, which uses pre-paid envelopes as ordered by wards/departments.

 

Services Provided

 

Cheltenham General Hospital

Collection and delivery of internal and external mail is carried out twice daily, morning and early afternoon, Monday to Friday.  We also send out external mail including small parcels/packages and recorded delivery items.

 

Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

Collection and delivery of internal and external mail is made once a day, mornings only , Monday to Friday.  We also send out external mail including small parcels/packages and recorded delivery items.

Clean Mail (external mail) is collected by Royal Mail from the Post Rooms late afternoon Monday to Friday inclusive.
