National Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist Day
We have a Cancer CNS workforce upwards of 80 staff across 13 different cancer specialties.
The CNS teams are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled in their specialty and support cancer patients in many ways. They are involved in the patient pathway right the way through from diagnosis, treatment and living with and beyond cancer. This #NationalCancerCNSDay we’re hearing how our CNS teams support patients.
The teams work on curative, palliative and end of life pathways and we also have a team that are there to provide educational and clinical development of the workforce. It is a truly diverse role!
On behalf of the Trust, patients and the organisations we work closely alongside I would like to thank each and every Cancer CNS for their dedication, professionalism, compassion and kindness.
