Siobhan Oldham
Home Enteral Feed Team
For the last 23 years, Siobhan has led the Home Enteral Feeding Team, during which time she has grown, developed and pushed the boundaries of Home Enteral Feed dietetics. Under her leadership, the team has grown from a team of 1 through to a team of 25. Siobhan has continued to develop and progress her vision for the team to reach new goals, from the initiation of dietitian-led prescriptions for enteral feeds to the introduction of blended diet, with an unswerving focus on patient choice and satisfaction.
Siobhan has worked with external companies to ensure our enteral feed contract is one of the most favourable in the country and supported her team to participate in national research projects and international conferences.
Under Siobhan’s leadership, the team has diversified and embraced new ways of working, including the introduction of Dietetic Support Workers and Assistant Practitioners to increase the skill mix of the team and the introduction of new apprentice roles.
Although stepping back from her career for health reasons, Siobhan should be recognised for her phenomenal achievements and dedication to the Trust.
