Support as an organisation
Every businesses or organisation in the county will have team members who have been directly impacted by the work of our NHSCorporate Giving
Our hospitals touch the lives of so many people across Gloucestershire, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
We’re here to help provide a way of giving back to our amazing hospital teams for all they do for us. Our work supports our colleagues and enhances the environment and equipment for patients over and above what the NHS can provide alone.
There are so many ways your business can get involved with the charity whether as a one-off project or donation or on an on-going basis.
It could be signing up as a work team for a fundraising challenge or even adopting us as your charity of the year? You could also give your time as a volunteer for us.
If you would like to find out more visit our Donate page, call us on 0300 422 3231 or email us at ghn-tr.fundraising@nhs.net.
Five ways you can help
- Make us your Charity of the Year
We are so grateful to any organisation who chooses to make us Charity of the Year. Regular fundraising is a fantastic way to bring people together in the workplace – whether that is organising coffee mornings and bake sales in the office to taking part in larger fundraising challenges and activities.
- Take on a Challenge
Do you have lunchtime running or walking club at work or would like to start one? Then why not sign up to a fundraising running challenge as motivation? If you don’t see an event that is right for your organisation, then why not organise your own challenge and create a JustGiving page. Visit our events page for more information.
- Support our Pride of Gloucestershire Trail
Next Summer is going to be roarsome in Gloucestershire with the arrival of the Lions at Large sculpture trail. Your business can join the pride by sponsoring one of the incredible art works that will be taking over Cheltenham and Gloucester throughout the summer. It is a fantastic way to support our Big Space Cancer Appeal to transform cancer care in Gloucestershire. For information visit the Lions at Large website or contact our Partnerships Manager Karen Organ on 0300 422 2532 or email karen.organ@nhs.net.
- Choose where you like to help
If your community group wants to raise money for a particular area of the hospital let us know. We can help you set a fundraising target for a project of choice such as buying a piece of equipment to help staff and patients. There are lots of different projects which need support from funding smaller projects such as vein finders or jaundice monitors for babies right through to CT Scanners and large-scale community garden projects.
- Volunteer
If you would like to give more than money, there are plenty of ways to give your time to help. Your team could volunteer as a marshal at a fundraising challenge or help promote the work we do in the community. Does your organisation have a unique set of skills, resources or expertise that might help with an upcoming project? Then we would love to hear from you. To chat to us about volunteering opportunities, email ghn-tr.fundraising@nhs.net.

How our supporters have helped make a difference: Keir Construction
A new baby remembrance garden at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital was made possible thanks to the support of businesses in the area.
Kier Construction worked with its supply partners free of charge to help get the green space started and also committed a team of volunteers to help with the planting.
Kier and a number of its partner businesses came together to complete the groundworks and other projects. South West business D-Interiors also provided their services free of charge.
Community Engagement Manager for Kier Construction Western and Wales Emma Deane said: “We are proud to be taking part in this important project and volunteering our time to create the remembrance garden. Sadly, too many families are affected by baby loss and we hope this garden will help to provide a place of comfort for people.”
