Staff are reaching new heights to support our Scanner Appeal
This May our Muslim Chaplain, Atique Miah and Deputy CEO, Mark Pietroni are taking part in a charity wing walk to help raise funds for our latest appeal.Deputy CEO and Director for Safety and Medical Director, Mark is taking part as a thank you to our dedicated NHS heroes. “Staff at the Hospitals in Gloucestershire have shown amazing resilience in the face of unprecedented challenges, and even now the pressure can seem relentless. I am supporting the Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity for all the work they do to support staff wellbeing, improvements to facilities and specialist equipment like the CT Gamma Scanner.”
Despite his fear of heights, Atique has also signed up to take on this epic experience. “I’m raising funds for the CT Gamma Scanner Appeal this Ramadan. I am very nervous but delighted to be fundraising during an important time for an important cause. Your dues and heartfelt prayers are requested as I am so afraid of heights, but I will go ahead with this challenge regardless. Please wish me the best"
Thank you to everyone who has supported so far and to Mark and Atique for taking on this incredible challenge. To find out more or make a donation, please visit Mark and Atique’s JustGiving pages.
