Watch our CT Gamma Scanner Appeal video
See how this revolutionary technology can help save and transform local lives in the Gloucestershire communityWhen Kate Hellier Consultant Physician in Stroke and General & Old Age Medicine became a hospital patient herself, a Gamma scan helped to give a diagnosis which was impossible with other types of scanners.
We want to raise £600,000 to fund new state-of-the-art CT Gamma Scanner technology to help support our NHS staff and the patients they care for at our hospitals.
This high-tech equipment allows patients to have two specialist scans at the same time; an external CT scan and a gamma scan from within the body, diagnosing conditions which otherwise cannot be found. Thousands of local patients will benefit each year, from seriously ill children to people with conditions such as cancer, heart disease and Parkinson’s.
You can help more patients get diagnosed and treated faster by supporting our appeal. If you would like to make a contribution, please visit our donation page. Thank you to anyone who chooses to support!
