London Marathon 2026


Support your local hospitals by taking part in the London Marathon and experience an event like no other. You will run past some of London’s most iconic landmarks, whilst being cheered on by hundreds of thousands of spectators. 40,000 others will be taking part in this incredible event and there is intense competition to secure a place.
Enter the ballot
There is a public ballot which normally opens the weekend of the marathon and closes seven days later. You can enter the public ballot when it opens on the official London Marathon Website. If you are successful in the ballot, just let us know that you would like to join #TeamNHSGlos!
Apply for one of our charity places
Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity are thrilled to have been given four charity places in the London Marathon 2026. If you would like to apply, please complete the application form below. Places are limited so please make sure to include as much detail as possible in your application form.
We ask charity place runners to raise a minimum of £2500, excluding Gift Aid and pay a non refundable registration fee of £50. All applicants will be informed if they have been successful after the public ballot results.
Please note, you must be at least 18 years old on the day of the race to take part.
