In-patient wards at Cheltenham General Hospital
If you are unwell, require close monitoring or your treatment is administered over several hours, you may need to stay on an inpatient ward.
There are 2 wards at Cheltenham General Hospital; Lilleybrook and Rendcomb, both wards look after haematology and oncology patients.
If it is planned for you to be admitted to one of the wards for your treatment an in-patient nurse practitioner, who organises the daily admissions, will call you as soon as there is a bed available. This may not be until the afternoon.
