Gastroenterology dietetic specialist service

Our small team of dietitians care for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal (GI) conditions.

We work with our medical and nursing colleagues to provide advice to manage GI symptoms and improve nutritional intake.

The IBD Team is made up of consultant gastroenterologists, surgeons, registrars (doctors close to the end of their speciality training), IBD specialist nurses, a specialist pharmacist and dieticians.

Gastrointestinal (G.I.) Physiology

Clinical Gastrointestinal Physiologists work solely at Cheltenham General Hospital. We perform a range of investigations on both the upper and lower G.I. tract and referrals are made through consultant surgeons and physicians.
