Flow Cytometry
Flow Cytometry tests including;
- Chronic / Low Grade Lymphoproliferative Disease Panels
- Acute / High Grade Immunophenotyping Panels
- Lymphocyte Subsets
- CD4 Quantitation in HIV Disease
- GPI Linked Proteins for Paroxysmal Nocturnal Haemoglobinuria (PNH)
are sent to the Specialist Integrated Haematological Malignancy Diagnostic Service (SIHMDS) within the North Bristol NHS Trust.
All Haemato-Oncology Diagnostic (BHODS) testing requires the completion of a BHODS form to be sent alongside any diagnostic sample.
- Feto-maternal Haemorrhage Quantitation (following a positive Kleihauer test) are sent to the NHSBT at Filton, Bristol for testing.
Please avoid sending Flow Cytometry requests on Friday afternoons or weekends except by prior arrangement as there is no routine transport to Bristol and a courier will need to be arranged.
