- Antibodies to cardiac muscle antigens are found in a proportion of patients with Dressler's syndrome, following myocardial infarction, after cardiac surgery, acute rheumatic fever and in some cardiomyopathies.
- The diagnostic value of these antibodies is low.
- Test performed at Northern General Hospital, Sheffield.
